Directions to Bayou Charters:
- From I-10 take the Chalmette Exit 246A(LA47) 8.7 Miles going South.
- Take Left on LA39 (4th Stop Light) at Shell Gas Station and travel 8.4 Miles.
- Take Left onto (LA46 East) Flashing Yellow Lights!! Look for Road Signs on Right side Everyone Passes this up!!!!
- Go 8 Miles and Take Left at the only STOP SIGN and Travel 4.8 Miles.
- You will Cross Draw Bridge then Take a Right onto LA624 for 1.5 Miles (Hopedale Hwy).
- Look for our New Dock, New Lodge and Sign that says
YOU ARE HERE “Bayou Charters/Silver Side Lodge.” On the right side of the road.
Note: Remember this area was the most devastated by Hurricane Katrina and some landmarks are gone. Follow your GPS but make sure you don't miss the third turn. There is a small ATM Gulf South Bank Trailer on the left at the turn.
